Overnight Shelter

For: People who are actively unhoused

Focus: Providing a safe, dignified place to rest and stay protected from severe weather

Hours: 9pm - 7am | Last Entry: Midnight

What We Provide:

  • Low-barrier beds

  • Harm-reduction approach (no sobriety required)

  • Navigation support for next steps such as entering our Residence Program, getting IDs, or applying for Medicaid

Our shelter is designed to be as low-barrier and welcoming as possible. We ask only a few basic things to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

Requirements:

  • You must not be violent or threatening toward staff or other guests.

  • Weapons, drugs, and alcohol cannot be used or displayed inside the shelter.

  • Respect staff directions and follow basic shelter guidelines.

  • Pets: Unfortunately, we can’t house animals inside. We’ll help you connect to local pet resources if needed.

  • Belongings: Limited personal items are allowed. We provide storage options when available.

  • Partners or friends: We try to accommodate couples when space allows but can’t guarantee shared sleeping areas.

  • Cleanliness & conduct: Please keep your space tidy and be considerate of others.

  • Curfew & check-in times: Entry is first-come, first-served. Doors close at posted times for safety.

  • Bans or past issues: If you’ve been asked to leave before, talk to staff, as many bans can be reviewed or lifted.

  • Accessibility: We welcome individuals with mental health or trauma-related challenges; staff are trained in trauma-informed care and can help you get settled calmly and privately.

Our goal is simple: make sure everyone has a safe place to sleep, stay warm, and be treated with dignity.
